MEETING DATES

JUNE 18, 2025 - OUR FIRST GATHERING

Our inaugural Shame Club meeting took place at the Green Lake Public Library. We welcomed a full room of strangers willing to be brave and vulnerable. Bobby Frank opened with the story of how Shame Club came to be, and then we shared the circle, guided by a few simple principles: confidentiality, respect, and presence.

Some spoke. Some listened. Everyone left feeling a little lighter, and a little less alone.

This first gathering laid the foundation for what Shame Club is becoming: a place where truth is welcomed and shame loses its grip.

JULY 23, 2025 - WE MET FOR A SECOND TIME

Shame Club held its second meeting on July 23 and, once again, a room of brave souls showed up to share their stories and bear witness to their brothers and sisters. Those gnawing feelings of never-enough-ness were laid bare, and had us all feeling a sense of relief and connection.

Shame Club is gaining momentum with the next meetings on Wednesday August 20, Wednesday September 3, and Wednesday September 17 — each at 6:00 pm at the Green Lake Public Library.

AUGUST 20, 2025 - THE THIRD TIME IS THE CHARM

We convened once again on August 20, and it was a really impactful time of intimate and courageous sharing. I continue to be so gratified by so many people showing up, willing and able to to speak their truth and hold space for others. As Ram Dass said: “We’re all just walking each other home.”

MEETINGS

A safe space to speak the previously unspeakable.

At Shame Club™, we gather in circle, not to fix each other, but to witness, connect, and grow. These community meetings are open to anyone ready to explore the hidden parts of themselves in a judgment-free setting. We meet monthly in person, and every circle is different, but what stays the same is the power of speaking your truth and listening to others do the same. None of us is alone.
